Christians live in many places, traditions, and circumstances. Yet wherever they are, one simple possibility remains. We can draw nearer to Christ and to one another.
Proximity Fellowship is an invitation to make space for Christian fellowship in ordinary life. Christians may pray, open Scripture, remember Christ, encourage one another, and learn to walk together wherever they already are.
It does not ask you to leave a church or Christian tradition you already belong to. It offers a common floor from which fellowship can begin in a home, a university, a workplace, a neighborhood, a cafe, a park, or another suitable place.
Begin Where You Are
You do not need a perfect church, a perfect group, or a perfect leader before seeking Christian fellowship.
Perhaps there are already two or three Christians near you. A neighbor. A colleague. A friend. Ask them to meet.
Open Scripture. Pray. Give thanks. Encourage one another. Remember Christ.
That is enough to begin.
Then let the fellowship grow, or remain small, in whatever size, rhythm, and season it is given. There is no need to build more than the life of the fellowship actually requires.
A Floor, Not a Ceiling
Proximity Fellowship offers a floor, not a ceiling.
Christians will continue to differ in tradition, conviction, and practice. Not every difference needs to be resolved before genuine fellowship can begin.
Christ is our unity. Proximity seeks unity in Christ without manufactured uniformity.
The Framework provides enough common ground for Christians to meet faithfully while leaving real room for convictions and practices the Charter leaves open.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

An Imperfect Framework for Imperfect Christians
No human framework is perfect. Neither are the Christians who gather through one.
Proximity Fellowship does not claim to have discovered the one pattern for Christian fellowship. It is offered freely and held humbly, an imperfect framework for imperfect Christians.
Those who participate do not belong to Proximity Fellowship. Those who help host or steward it do not own it.
The fellowship is the purpose. The Framework is the means. Christ remains the Head.
And if, over time, those who first helped give it shape become less necessary because Christians are drawing nearer to Christ and serving one another faithfully, then something has gone right.
You Are Invited
Perhaps you already know the Christians nearby.
Perhaps you have not met them yet.
Either way, there is no need to begin with ambition. Begin with Christ, Scripture, and one another.
